There are state and federal consumer protection laws that are designed to protect customers through car dealer fraud claims such as odometer tampering, car dealer financing scams and vehicle history misrepresentations. If you believe that the car dealer or other employee of the car dealership have engaged in any of the following acts or practices, contact our offices or an attorney specializing in car dealer fraud cases in your area immediately to preserve your legal rights.

To avoid odometer tampering or roll back you should first check for maintenance and oil change/lube stickers and/or receipts that could contain mileage information greater than odometer mileage. Ask the car dealer to provide you with a written statement of the actual mileage disclosed on the odometer at the time of purchase, if you are not provided this at time of purchase, contact a dealer fraud lawyer to discuss your case.
